Service Description
Get hands-on wheelchair securement training designed for NEMT drivers, transportation professionals, and organizations that need recognized passenger assistance and mobility device securement training. Students may register for one of two training options offered during this session: CTAA PASS Wheelchair Securement Training Hands-on wheelchair securement training for students completing the CTAA PASS certification requirements. Students must complete the required CTAA PASS Basic online prerequisite before attending the hands-on session. NEMTAC AMDS Training Accessible Mobility Device Securement (AMDS) training covering proper wheelchair and mobility device securement, passenger safety, equipment use, and hands-on application. Both training options are conducted during the same scheduled class session. You will select your desired training/certification option during registration. Class size is limited to 6 total students, regardless of training option, to allow for hands-on instruction and individual participation. Training is held in person in Brandon, Florida. Additional prerequisite and attendance requirements will be provided during registration.
